The Gokturks, namely the Gokturk Khaganate, were the first state established with the name "Turk" between 552-724. The Turkish words were first engraved on stones during this period. The word Turk was designed with the Gokturk alphabet, in which it was first used, and a Crescent and Star necklace. The necklace is made of 925 sterling silver. Oxide coating is applied to the silver. The oxide coating gives the silver an aged appearance.
